Palliative care in Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes: the CARSP’ARA launches its website

La CARSP’ARA déploie carspara.fr : un site dédié aux professionnels de santé, aux associations et au grand public pour centraliser l’offre de soins palliatifs en Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Created in March 2024 under the aegis of the HOURAA Healthcare Cooperation Group (GCS HOURAA) and funded by the Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency (ARS), the Regional Palliative Care Coordination Unit Auvergne–Rhône-Alpes (CARSP’ARA) aims to bring together healthcare and medico‑social stakeholders. Its goal: to make the palliative care approach clearer and more accessible across the entire regional territory.

carspara.fr: resources for professionals and the general public

The new website, www.carspara.fr, addresses a concrete need for networking and information‑sharing. Whether you are a healthcare professional, a member of a volunteer association, or an individual, the platform centralizes numerous useful resources for everyone, including:

  • a regional directory of palliative care resource structures,
  • regional and national news,
  • a calendar of training sessions and events,
  • documentary and educational resources,
  • a dedicated space for professionals.

A team of experts to support field stakeholders.

The CARSP’ARA operates across the entire Auvergne–Rhône‑Alpes region in order to:

  • coordinate, connect, and support stakeholders (social, medico‑social, and healthcare professionals) in their projects related to palliative‑care culture,
  • provide information on palliative care and end‑of‑life issues,
  • promote and disseminate palliative‑care culture and practices,
  • contribute to territorial assessments and to improving the clarity and visibility of palliative‑care services.

The team is made up of three professionals:

  • Valérie Amouroux‑Gorsse, nurse manager and coordination lead;
  • Gaëlle Berger, nurse and project officer;
  • and Carole Monnier, project officer, notably in charge of communication.
